Welcome to Stockey Docs

Stockey documentation explains how to define user-owned strategy logic, prepare data, run historical testing, review assumptions, export self-hosted packages, and understand product boundaries.

Boundary

Stockey documentation is product guidance. It is not investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, broker advice, or a recommendation to trade.

How to use these docs

  1. Understand product boundaries.
  2. Build strategy logic.
  3. Prepare broker historical data or CSV files.
  4. Run historical testing.
  5. Review AI-assisted output.
  6. Bake a package.
  7. Deploy in your own environment.
  8. Use support safely.

Core workflows

Strategy Builder

Define rules, assumptions, parameters, and risk settings.

Start here

Pine Converter

Import Pine logic and review conversion assumptions.

Review logic

Broker data

Prepare user-authorized historical-data sessions where supported.

Check broker data

Package export

Download self-hosted package artifacts with example values.

Prepare export

Before you connect data

  • Do not share broker passwords, OTPs, full API secrets, or access tokens.
  • Broker historical-data sessions should be temporary and session-limited.
  • CSV uploads require user rights to the data.
  • Stockey does not operate broker accounts from the SaaS app.
  • Exported packages are configured in the user's own environment.
  • Support requests should never include broker secrets.

Historical testing boundaries

Historical tests use past data and assumptions. They are diagnostic, not predictive. Costs, slippage, liquidity, missing data, latency, instrument mapping, and broker behavior can materially affect outcomes.

Package export and deployment

Generated packages are user-owned artifacts. Stockey SaaS does not run user live strategy logic. Users configure local credentials, review generated files, use dry-run-first behavior, and control their own environment after export.
