CSV Data Rights

User responsibility

Users must have the right to upload and process CSV data in Stockey.

Restricted data

Do not upload confidential, restricted, licensed, third-party, or unlawfully obtained market data unless you have explicit rights to process it.

Safer workflow

• Confirm data source terms.
• Remove unrelated personal or account data.
• Keep only fields needed for historical testing.
• Document any synthetic or adjusted fields.

Retention posture

CSV uploads should be temporary/session-limited by default. Remove uploads after the historical-test or export workflow unless the user saves a project/report that requires retained derived results. Users should be able to request deletion where available and legally permitted.
